
Promenada
The PROMENADA Shopping and Entertainment Centre in the city of Warsaw is the ultimate expression of the motto: more than just shopping. Phase I of PROMENADA was delivered in 1996, whereas Phase III – the last phase so far – came to completion in 2005. PROMENADA is a concept that offers a broad variety in modern-day retail, finding its roots in the truly American-style regional shopping mall. PROMENADA features approximately 120,000 sqm of international (anchor) tenants, luxury boutiques, shops, restaurants and cafes, leisure facilities such as a 13-screen cinema and an indoor ice rink, as well as offices. The PROMENADA concept is highly marketing-driven, featuring e.g. the PROMENADA quarterly magazine, loyalty programmes and regular shows and events. Annually, PROMENADA in Warsaw is visited by over 10 million people. Now that PROMENADA has proven itself, other countries have shown an active interest in the concept. For this reason, in the foreseeable future the ECC Group will be exporting the PROMENADA concept to various cities in Bulgaria, Albania, former Yugoslavia, Morocco, Thailand and Vietnam.
